Here Janie is realizing that, yes she was correct that Jody like change and fixing and making things better, but HE is the one who gets to do it. He makes Janie sit on the sideline while he does all these things and gains all this glory. She is just hoping that soon she is going to be included or that soon he is finally going to get his fix for fixin’ and that he will stop.
